Before you start
vehicles.meta, handling.meta, carvariations.meta and carcols.meta from the same vehicle resource.
Step by step
- Drop all related files together for cross-file checks.
- Read each error and warning with its filename and referenced identifier.
- Correct the source files, preserving matching model, handling, modkit and light references.
- Remove stale inputs or reload the corrected set and check again before testing the vehicle in game.
What you get
A validation report, not automatically repaired files. Passing static checks does not verify the model geometry or every runtime interaction.
Troubleshooting
A missing-reference warning can be caused by an omitted companion file. Supply the complete metadata set before treating every unresolved identifier as a broken vehicle.
