Open Malware Scanner · All tool guides
Before you start
A resource folder or ZIP with readable Lua and JavaScript source.
Step by step
- Drop the resource into Malware Scanner.
- Review high and medium findings with their filenames and context.
- Inspect reported endpoints and the surrounding source code before deciding whether the behaviour is expected.
- Investigate suspicious code with the resource author and rescan any revised version before use.
What you get
A heuristic report of suspicious patterns and endpoints. Zero findings is not proof a resource is safe; obfuscated or encrypted code may not be inspectable.
Troubleshooting
Legitimate update checks and network integrations can trigger findings. Review purpose and provenance rather than deleting every flagged line. If no scripts are found, provide readable .lua or .js source.
