Before you start

Two handling.meta files: an original baseline and the version you want to compare.

Step by step

  1. Load the original into Baseline (A) and the edited file into Compare (B).
  2. If either file contains multiple vehicles, select the intended handling entry on each side. Verify their names even when an automatic match is offered.
  3. Read the per-category differences, including vector axes and flags.
  4. Use Handling Editor to make changes; keep the comparison open as your reference.

What you get

A side-by-side report. The comparer does not merge the files or decide whether a higher value improves handling.

Troubleshooting

Unexpectedly large differences often mean you selected different vehicles. A missing percentage for a zero baseline is not the same as no change.
