FiveM tools / fxmanifest.lua builder
FiveM fxmanifest.lua builder.
How do I write an fxmanifest.lua?
Fill in the form below and copy the result into your resource's root folder as fxmanifest.lua. The builder writes fx_version 'cerulean' and game 'gta5', then your scripts, files, ui_page, data_file lines and dependencies. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no account.

Questions.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The builder runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere. Copy the text or download the file.
- Which fx_version and game does it write?
- fx_version 'cerulean' and game 'gta5', the current values for a FiveM resource. It leaves out lua54: every Lua script runs on Lua 5.4 since June 2025, so the line is deprecated.
- Why are my data_file paths also in files?
- FiveM only sends players the files listed in files. A data_file line names what a meta file is, but the file still has to be listed, so the builder adds it for you.
- Do I list my stream folder?
- No. Everything in stream/ is streamed on its own. Only meta files need files and data_file lines.
- I already have the resource folder. Can it read it for me?
- Yes, use the fxmanifest generator in the Rivo app: drop the zipped folder and it detects the scripts, files and data_files. It is free too.
